Defining Treasure Coast Cuisine
Now entering its eighth season, The Tides has been defining Treasure Coast cuisine since March of 2000. Leading a team of classically trained culinarians is Chef Leanne Kelleher who has created a menu drawing on the rich ethnic and cultural diversity of the Treasure Coast. The result is an innovative combination of Latin, French, traditional Southern, and Caribbean all built on a traditional European foundation.
Earning the title of Chef from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1991, Leanne continued her education at The Florida International University with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management. After completing her academic training, she gained her considerable experience working in several of the “top-tier” fine dining restaurants in Coral Gables and Vero Beach culminating in the creation of The Tides.
A recipient of Award of Excellence from The Wine Spectator for 2002-2007, and having been named one of the “Exceptional Restaurants of Florida” by Gourmet Magazine, The Tides remains one of the premier restaurants in Vero Beach. The restaurant represents the Chef's vision of fine dining: excellence in cuisine equally matched by excellence in service all offered in a more casual environment.
With an inviting, intimate atmosphere as well as al fresco dining available on our patio, the Tides offers its customers a truly excellent dining experience.
