Indian River Medical Center takes pride in providing Indian River County, the Treasure Coast and the Central Florida region with a full array of comprehensive, high quality services. Our Heart Center provides cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery as well as interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty and coronary stenting. The Cancer Care program, accredited with commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, provides state-of-the-art diagnostic technology (including 64-slice CT), advanced surgical techniques, the latest drug regimens for chemotherapy, and modern and sophisticated radiation therapy, including IMRT. From newborns to patients requiring orthopedic implants, IRMC strives to provide patients with more of what they want and need in healthcare.

The Indian River Medical Center Foundation, an affiliate of Indian River Medical Center, is a not-for-profit, philanthropic organization whose primary mission is to generate contributions to supplement the capital requirements of the medical center. The Foundation is committed to developing a sense of community purpose in support of the medical center's mission, which is to provide excellent, cost competitive healthcare services to our community. Among the ongoing capital needs and special programs supported by the Foundation annually are: the Patient Advocate program in the ED, the Nursing Innovation Unit, nursing education, and new equipment purchases throughout the hospital. Currently in the midst of a $50 million capital campaign, the Foundation is providing significant philanthropic support for the Master Facility Plan being implemented at the hospital, which includes expansion of services and facility improvements to ensure that our medical center continues to provide The Right Care Right Here. http://www.irhf.org

The Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast provides comprehensive healthcare services throughout Indian River, Brevard, and northern St. Lucie Counties. The VNA offers skilled nursing care; home health aides; physical, speech, and occupational therapy; as well as companions and transportation. The VNA is the only licensed hospice provider in Indian River County. The non-profit organization also provides community wellness services such as flu and pneumonia vaccination clinics, free monthly blood pressure/blood sugar screenings, and a speakers bureau.

The VNA & Hospice Foundation is committed to its mission of providing home health and hospice care for everyone, regardless of their financial resources. The Foundation’s Board of Directors is responsible for raising the funds necessary to enable the VNA to provide approximately $1 million in charity home health and hospice care each year for those in our community who are uninsured or have limited financial means. For more than 30 years, the VNA has never turned away a patient in need due to their inability to pay. http://www.vnatc.com
