Beau Joubert

www.beaujoubert.com

Situated on a farm originally founded in 1695, in the renowned Stellenbosch region of South Africa, this property has been under the Joubert Families personal attention and dedication for 5 consecutive generations. October 2000 marked a new era at Beau Joubert, as a group of successful businessmen from Wisc., U.S.A. joined as partners. The beautiful 120-hectare estate is nestled on the upper south-facing slopes in the Vlaeberg Valley, overlooking False Bay and the Stellenbosch mountains. Approximately 75 hectares lie under vine and include the likes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Cab Franc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. Annual production of this medium sized estate is limited to about 30,000 cases; bottling under the labels of Beau Joubert, Oak Lane and Joubert’s Farm. Along with walking & mountain bike trails and a natural spring this is an ideal way to spend an afternoon in the Cape enjoying the scenery, bird and other wildlife.
